Once home to numerous grist mills, ironworks, and textile mills, all fueled by the nearby Schuylkill River, Conshohocken, PA holds a rich industrial heritage. When our team was tasked with branding a new multifamily property in this historic town, their goal was to honor the area’s past while featuring the property’s scenic riverfront location. Named Matson Mill (in honor of the town’s original name, Matson Ford), the property and its brand campaign seamlessly blend the site’s historical significance in textile production with its idyllic riverside location, all while embracing a modern aesthetic.
The graphic elements take inspiration from weaving motifs, aiming to commemorate the property’s historical significance and evoke a sense of being “woven into the riversideā. On the website, these woven motifs come to life, reminiscent of both weaving patterns and flowing water, skillfully guiding the viewer’s gaze downward and across the screen. The sophisticated navy, deep red, and muted gold color palette pays homage to the river while also drawing inspiration from the property’s interior design. The result is a distinctive brand that honors the location’s history, embraces the allure of waterside living, and showcases the most captivating aspects of this vibrant new community.
